Trying to shift to a zero plastic lifestyle is absolutely not easy.
We all have born in the plastic era, we are that used to plastic that many times we don’t even notice we are using/buying/ selling it.
That’s where I want YOU, to turn on your conscious spark: NOTICE how much plastic you (and your family/friends) use every day.
Obviously when it comes to bathroom products and beauty care it’s always a bit more tricky to get ride to the most useful and indeed most polluting material on earth: plastic.
Today we’ll focus on TOOTHPASTE.
Almost all commercial toothpaste tubes we find on the market are made of plastic and contains long term harmful chemicals.
So what should we do?
How can we get a fresh and clean mouth without damaging our wonderful planet?
Here we give you 3 homemade toothpaste recipe you can easily do by yourself!
BEFORE YOU STOP reading, BEAR IN MIND that:
“Caring about the environment sometimes could be very hard, it’s exactly like being on a diet, you know you have to make more than an effort to get the result you want, but you are doing it for YOURSELF for the wellness of your own organs and body, as they are part of you. “
That same concept has to be applied to nature. Avoiding plastic wrapped products isn’t easy but if you realize that you are giving back the days you played as a kid in the countryside or at the beach , with those amazing landscapes in a clean and healthy environment to your kids/ nephews..
WHAT COULD YOU ASK MORE THAN THIS?
So, we know sometimes could be boring making sustainable staff yourself at home but you can turn this little creative session into quality family time or why not , a gossip night with your friends or a pre- beer-pong ( of course without plastic glasses!)
